The most virtuous of us living the Paleo lifestyle probably aren’t reading this.  HA!  Gotcha.  The truth is, sugar isn’t good for you.  And, I have to weigh in here and say that while that statement is very true, there’s something to be said about the joys of an occasional sweet treat.  And being happy is an important part of staying healthy!  Of course, the recipes below are gluten and grain free, and higher in protein than your average baked good.  The sweeteners I use are honey, grade B maple syrup and coconut sap sugar.  The funny thing about dessert?  It’s way better when it’s a treat, a once in a while indulgence.  That’s when you really appreciate it.
